Welcome to the website of Louis Anthony deLise.

The Calendar for Life has adopted Louis deLise's composition, "Gentle Heart" as its Anthem for the National Observance of Pro-Life Sunday on Mother's Day.

"Gentle Heart" is featured in a video produced by Calendar for Life that is available on YouTube.com.

"Gentle Heart" (A Lullaby for Choir) is a contemplation on Mary's thoughts about the Savior she is carrying. "Gentle Heart" is also appropriate for Advent and other celebrations of life. The piece is scored for mixed voices (SAB) and piano.

New for Father's Day! "We Praise You Father, Forever" by Louis deLise, celebrates fathers by singing about the Heavenly Father. Scored for SATB with piano accompaniment, this piece is in a contemporary pop style and is of only moderate difficulty. It sings very well! "We Praise You Father, Forever" is suitable for use by most denominations.

Louis deLise is equally at home composing for the concert stage and writing and producing pop records. He arranged and conducted for Patti LaBelle’s hit album, The Gospel According to Patti LaBelle, and has arranged, conducted and or produced for Peter Nero, Robert Hazard, William DeVaughn, Bunny Sigler, John Gibbs, SPiN, FRUiT, and Halestorm. He co-wrote the John Gibbs song, Trinidad, which was sampled for the Tori Amos million-seller, Professional Widow.

His orchestral arrangements have been performed by The Delaware Symphony, The Grand Rapids Symphony, The Dallas Symphony Orchestra and The Philly Pops and are published by Musicians Publications and Warner Brothers Music.

Dr. deLise is on the faculty of the Boyer College of Music and Dance at Temple University in Philadelphia.
